I love the photo my colleague Sue Andrew posted on Facebook of her son Zach (the boy on the left). He looks like he just stepped out of a Norman Rockwell picture!

Last evening, May 29th, Marilynn Raben and I met at Papparazzi and had the kind of inspirational conversation that is easy to have with her. She is a soul sister, having been instrumental in shaping the work of my heart in this lifetime - from psychological trauma  to metastatic cancer.

Tragically, on July 19th, Marilynn lost her only son Rob to a drowning.
She had released him for adoption at birth 
and he had searched and found her twenty years ago.

You cannot serve others 

if you are attached to what you offer
or how others receive it.
You must get out of the way
so that Spirit can work through you.
Service is an opportunity to love,
not a job description.

You cannot serve if you have

an identity or an agenda.

That just blocks the flow of energy

 as it moves through you.

You need to be an empty vessel

and let the energy come and go as it pleases.

When you help someone else,

your help goes where it is needed.
You will never know all the people
who are touched by your loving actions,
nor do you need to know.
